- Travel to an assigned siren location on the day of the test
- Conduct a basic visual inspection of the siren and surrounding area
- Note any visible damage, obstructions, or other concerns
- Observe the siren during the test for proper rotation and sound
- Report your findings via the amateur radio net or by email to the coordinator
There will not be an ARES meeting in July.

ARES Coordinator – Rich, K9WG
The ARES Group meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month to discuss emergency communications and operational strategy that would be implemented by amateur radio operators during a county disaster declaration.


Communication support will be needed for this event. Additional details and volunteer sign-up information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
