ARES Coordinator – Rich, K9WG

The ARES Group meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month to discuss emergency communication protocols and operational strategy that would be implemented by radio amateurs during a county disaster declaration.

The Monumental Marathon is approaching on November 8th and ham radio is once again being asked to support this race. There are 26 stations to be staffed for the 5k, half marathon, and full marathon routes.  Among the fun events ham radio supports, this one is cool temperatures and typically easy going. Sign up before the slots are all filled!  We will need 28 volunteers for this event
