The ARES Group meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month to discuss emergency communication protocols and operational strategy that would be implemented by radio amateurs during a county disaster declaration.


Mark your ham calendar for the Mid-State Amateur Radio Club’s third tailgate hamfest scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025. This will be an outdoor event at the Atterbury State Fish and Wildlife Area’s DNR Office parking lot, directly across the road from the DNR Headquarters.

Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) is an annual Scouting event that connects Scouts around the world with the use of Amateur Radio. The event will be held on the third full weekend of October ( 17th thru the 19th) , together with Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI)
